Black Dog Balance Harnesses are for walking control and loose lead training. When dogs pull on leash they lean forward, using their weight and strength to pull against the leash, we often reinforce this by pulling back on the leash and inadvertently train the dog to pull even harder.
The Black Dog Balance Harness helps train your dog to balance correctly on all 4 feet and not rely on the lead – They learn to walk comfortably without pulling.
Stops your dog pulling to allows effective training. Control from the Front and the back using a Double Ended Lead for best results, or use a normal lead connected at the Front.

We call these “Windsor” Blace Leads, because of the knot we use at the top of the lead, similar to the knot on a tie.
The lead is made from one piece of webbing, knotted around a metal swivel connector at the top – this enables the knot to be loosened and the arms to be adjusted, one shorter, one longer. It’s very handy if you walk 2 dogs of different sizes.
The Windsor Brace connects to your normal lead for walking 2 dogs, or if you are game, connect 2 brace leads to walk 4 dogs!
Mini = 12mm wide, arms 45cm long each side, Mini snap hooks.
Small = 19mm wide, arms 50cm long each side, Small snap hooks.
Regular = 25mm wide, arms 50cm long each side, Regular snap hooks.

Black Dog Double Ended Leads have an extremaly versatile lead design. They are length adjustable, can also be used as a normal lead and as a temporary tether in the same way the smart leads are used, and also to connect to a harness front (direction) and back (brake).
We use these leads together with a harness, initially more for loose lead walking training and now as a smart lead, still with the harness. We also use the double end lead to connect to our two dogs and we hold the middle area.

Small Double Ended Lead – 19mm wide, 2.2m long & has 3 D Rings along the lead’s shaft. Small Snap Hook on each end. For small to medium dogs
Regular Double Ended Lead – 25mm wide, 2.2m long & has 3 D Rings along the lead’s shaft. Medium Snap Hook on both ends of the Lead. For medium to large dogs.

The Tuffy dog collar is an easy clip on, clip off design, with double D Rings for your lead – all pressure from the lead bypasses the buckle, ensuring security and longevity of the buckle on very strong, or straining dogs.
The collar strap is fitted with a 25mm wide collar strap, and a 50mm wide, tapered, double thickness Neck Pad to spread any pressure broadly over your dog’s neck. It is comfortable and incredibly strong.
Designed with a Black Neck Pad, you have the choice of a contrasting collar strap, or just straight Black on Black.
This is a superbly crafted collar which will give your dog great presence, great neck support and last a lifetime of tough wear, not to mention the fact that all Black Dog gear is fully washable so it will look great throughout its long life.

Dog Leads are all the same right? Well this is one of those “Why hasn’t anyone thought of that before” designs. A quality dog lead for everyday use, with the added advantage of being length adjustable and enabling you to securely tether your dog to a tree or pole without unclipping the lead from your dog, or tying knots in it.

NOTE: Smart Leads are rated for tethering strength – which is related to the breaking strain of the Plastic Buckle in the handle when being used for tethering your dog (ie to a post) only.
In normal walking the dog lead is substantially stronger as the buckle is not used.
Tethering strength for dogs up to: Mini: 5 kg. Small: 12kg. Medium: 25kg
Smart dog leads are length adjustable from 1.5m down to 0.8m.
Dog Seat Belt Strap
Seat Belt Strap – plugs in to the seat belt buckle to securely connect a dog wearing a Car Harness within the car. Not compatible with some Volvo cars.
This strap uses very strong connectors to securely attach your dog’s harness to the car’s seat belt clasp, high strength clasps are important for your safety – to hold the dog steady against the extreme forces generated in the event of a car crash.
A Car Harness is only safe when it is securely connected to the car, so beware of products which use clips like on the end of a dog lead – these are made from dye cast metal and will snap on a medium shock force.
