Fish Jerky Strips Dog Treats
Fish Jerky Strips are similar to the jerky except its much thinner stands. They are made from dried shark meat and contain natural high levels of Omega 3. Omega 3 is essential in helping to maintain healthy bones and healthy skin.
They are a little chewy rather than crunchy (so dont always break up easily) so feedback is that they make a nice dental chew for mini to small dogs. Any larger its more of a snack.
Increasing the levels of Omega 3 in your dogs diet can help if your dog has or does any of the below:
- Licking their front paws.
- Allergies.
- Itchy, dry flaky skin and infections.
- Any kind of limp or pain.
- Inflammation of joints from arthritis.

These are a favourite of my little boy! As I had not tried them before, I only bought a small bag. He only gets a couple a day (broken into smaller pieces) – but he would be happy to gobble down the entire small packet if a chance occurred.

We usually buy the fish jerky and green lipped mussels for our German Shepherd who is on a meat and grain free diet. These are much thinner sliced than the jerky so are good for a smaller treat or can be easily broken into smaller pieces for training etc. Just like the regular fish jerky she loves them and they are good quality. I bought these strips particularly for our one year old Shihtzu who has skin allergies. She loves these as do our other two small dogs, & they come racing to the kitchen as soon as they hear the bag rustle. I like the fact that these strips can be easily broken into smaller pieces for a quick treat. They are also more suitable than the Fish Jerky for our older dog who only as a few teeth remaining. I will definitely be purchasing more of these.
