Mantis Shrimp Dog Treats
Mantis Shrimp dog treats are made using only Australian fish. Sustainably farmed, and are completely natural. Containing no additives or preservatives – only naturally occurring nutrients. Our fish pet treats are high in protein and particularly rich in omega 3 fatty acids, which will aid in lowering inflammation, and weight control (as they are low in fat).
They are ideal for most sized dogs, though more of a high-value quick snack for most. They are not particularly oily and will hold their form, making them easy to handle – easy for you, healthy for them!
Mantis Shrimp tend to be around 6-12cm long and around 1-2cm tall. They are light and bulky. Most are less than 4-10g in weight
Please note: the colour of shrimp can naturally vary from grey to orange depending on factors including location and depth caught.
Overall these are a fantastic way of giving your dog all the excellent nutrients from fish.
They are also perfect for the medium to larger dogs out there that suffer from allergies. Made from Australian, sustainably farmed Shrimp with no preservatives, sugar or colours. This is important for dogs with allergies, as unnatural additives may cause allergy flare-ups.
These hypoallergenic dog treats are high in Omega 3s for joint and coat health. As well as weight control as they are a low-fat treat. Fish is meat that experts say is low risk for allergies and so could be your dog’s golden ticket for avoiding allergies.
Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

I like hiding these inside a finished paper towel roll and hiding it in the backyard for my dogs to find (supervised) it’s fun to watch them use their noses to find treats and they really like these crunchy treats, I’ll be adding these to the nxt cart 🙂

Love these! They don’t last long with my dogs (Finnish lapphunds), a few chews and they are gone, but they are a hit, I liken them to the equivalent of a chip for dogs. Will be a great inclusion in our puppy packs for new owners. Lightweight and plenty in a pack!

Since my initial review of this product, my dog got a gum infection after being spiked by a piece of shell. I have blitzed the remaining product in my food processor to create a powder. I now use this in warm water to create a tasty broth to rehydrate my animals’ freeze dried food. Still much loved by both my cat & dog, but the spikes on the whole shrimp are problematic.

These mantis shrimp treats were a new find for me. I actually purchased them with my cat in mind, but my dog loves them too! They smell similar to dried shrimp you might use in Asian style cooking but are actually less pungent. They break into smaller pieces very easily for smaller pets. I liken the the texture to popcorn…. very dry & crispy! These treats are well liked by both my cat & dog, with both devouring them in seconds. I feed them outdoors as both pets leave small flaky crumbs of shrimp shell behind.

Our two GSP’s love fishy treats. It seem like the shrimps are tasty, but almost all of them have spikes on them which are hard too. Our boy got hurt whilst eating one and is now afraid of them. I would recommend to break off any spikey bits before feeding it to your dog.
