Shark Skin Dental Strips (small) Dog Treats

The Shark Skin Dental Strips dog treats are a natural and healthy treatment for your best friend. They will love the taste and the major health benefits. As with all of our fish pet treats, they are rich in protein. As well as omega 3 for healthy joints and reducing inflammation. Made only from Australian sharks with no other nasty ingredients.

Very similar to the Shark Skin Dental Chews dog treats, they are just smaller in size for puppies and small dogs.

Please note that all of our shark products are derived from either North Queensland Blacktip Sharks or Australian Gummy Sharks.

  • Highly common sharks in Australia.
  • Caught using sustainable practices in accordance with the Australian Fisheries regulations.
  • Absolutely no endangered sharks are used in our products.
  • The sharks used in our products are deemed “Least Concern” by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.

Furthermore, please note: these fish are primarily caught for human consumption. Often referred to as flake in fish and chip shops. We mainly use the non-human consumption leftovers which would otherwise be discarded. Therefore nothings wasted. We certainly do not catch endangered sharks to use just their fins, tails or skin for dog products! We use the leftovers of common sustainably fished Australian shark, used for human consumption.

Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

These are very hit and miss with my finicky toy poodles. More than once a week and they refuse to eat them.

Deffinately buying these shark strips again, my dogs each got one but ended up fighting over the one left that was the slowest eater, I love that they are made in Aus by Aus produce.

Our previous dog loved these so got some for our pup to try.
Her reaction was the opposite, one sniff and rejected them outright.

Unfortunately my Bichon just didn’t like these. He wouldn’t go near them. I don’t blame him, the smell is overwhelming! He loves all his other Cleardog fish treats though 🙂 I ended up giving them away to my neighbour whose Labradoodle loved them but their Ridgeback hated them so I think it’s not for every dog…

Good size. Takes my cavi a while to get through them and he seemed to enjoy them. I didn’t find the smell offensive. (There are plenty more pungent treats out there). Good alternative dental treat to bones.

My elderly dog loves his shark skin at night. I give him these as an alternative to bones to help keep his teeth clean and gums free from bacteria and infection.
I would like to see the 1kg bag some back though as I like to purchase in bulk saves on postage too.

My dogs are all enjoying the smaller strips. I have previously bought the large pieces but way too large for my two little ones.

I use to buy the larger shark skin strips for my two Rottweilers and although they destroyed them in 5 mins, the pack just ran out too quick. These smaller strips are the best, There’s so many in a pack that your purchase will last a while and they get a great dose of omega for their coats.
