Kangaroo Chops Dog Treats
Kangaroo Chops treats contain only delicious and healthy, 100% all natural, all Australian kangaroo hip bones.
They are a single-ingredient product that contains no preservatives, colours, sugar, or other additives.
These treats are a perfect dental chew for dogs of most sizes and particularly medium to larger dogs. There is a reasonable amount of meat on the bone, so these treats should keep them occupied for long periods of time.
These are super long lasting treats that are suitable for all sized dogs. You will see small dogs gnaw on them for hours on end.
They are also rich in protein and are naturally one of the leanest red meats. The low amount of fat that is present, are unsaturated fats which are vital to your dog’s health.
Most pieces are around 100g but they can vary 70-130g each making them quite large. There are around 10 pieces in a kilo on average. Therefore around 5 per 500g bag.

Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

My beagle loves the taste of these and there is minimal odour unlike many of the kangaroo products however I won’t be buying them for him again as he crunches them into very sharp pieces. The teeth cleaners are a better fit for him.

One of our fav chews! Our pup loves it and it lasted almost an hour. He’s 26kg and can chomp down the 15cm thick bull pizzle in 10 minutes so was very impressed by this. There’s barely a smell, doesn’t feel greasy. Slightly crumbly so do need to clean up after. There’s usually a small piece of bone after which I take away to avoid choking.

My medium dalmatian x pointer loves these. She usually crunches through a pigs ear in a few minutes or a trotter in 10 minutes, but with these chops she happily works at them for well over an hour and often across a day or two. There is no aggressive smell that can sometimes come with kangaroo either. Very happy with these.

The dogs loved these. Once the meat was ripped off, the bone kept them happy gnawing away for ages. The only reason I won’t be buying them again, is that every one of them are individually wrapped in tight plastic.

Hi Beverly, they are normally not individually wrapped, the supplier made a mistake and that stock is almost finished now.

My dogs love these so this is not my first time purchasing them. I was so disappointed this time to find each piece plastic wrapped. So unnecessary when the bag is resealable. Given the focus on trying to reduce plastic use I was really surprised. I will have to think twice about purchasing again if you can’t change it. The product itself gets 5 stars though!

Hi Katy, Thanks for the feedback. This isnt normally the case however the supplier of this product also supplies some pet stores who sell them per chop and require them to be individually wrapped. A mistake was made where a whole batch was wrapped. We always request them to be loose as our popular sizes are 1kg bags. However due to the mistake this is all that is available until the batch is finished. We certainly made it clear we were not happy about this and it needed to be a one off.

The first time we bought these they weren’t individually wrapped.
So deducting a star for unneccesary wrapping!

Hi John, We are not happy about this either. Our supplier also individually wraps for a large retail chains who sell individually (At much higher prices!). Our supplier has large stocks wrapped and when they cant meet our unwrapped demand they add in some from that stock. Apparently the retailer has cancelled some orders and they need to clear it. Rest assured we have complained and continue to ask for unwrapped chops.

This lasts a really long time! My dog loves it. Am deducting a star for the unnecessary shrink wrapping though. It takes an extra minute to unwrap and contributes to the plastic wastage problem (and weight!).
