Kangaroo Lumbar Tails  Dog Treats – Splits

Kangaroo tails are very popular and make a great dog treat for medium and larger-sized dogs. They are a very large and incredibly long-lasting dog treat.

Kangaroo is lean meat and very low in fat, which is a great added bonus to such a large treat.

These treats make great dental chews too. They help maintain healthy teeth and gums hygiene as your dog chews.

We recommend these as an outdoor treat as they can crumble off a lot – though the dogs will make sure there is no evidence leftover!

These Kangaroo tails are around 15-20cm in length but some can vary outside of this (split in half lengthways). Thickness can vary slightly depending on the size of the roo and part of the tail but are generally within the 6-7cm range on average but some can be either side.

Alternatively, we have Kangaroo Tail Discs – which are our whole roo tails, chopped into perfect sized discs. Making the perfect chew that your small dog will love.

Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

Got this to help clean our dog’s teeth. She’s a lazy chewer but she absolutely loves chewing this because of the meat. The downside is…she’s super gassy afterwards!

My girl loves these but she only chews the meat off them and tends to leave the bone behind even though she loves fresh roo bones,

Our Jack Russell and Lagotto love these as the Lagotto seems to like the meaty section and the Jack Russell crunches up the bone over a few days. The Lagotto is getting to like the bone as well we’ve noticed.

My dog loves these but unfortunately I can’t give them to her again. She doesn’t chew her food properly so she swallows huge chunks when they break off. She then gets constipated and hurts herself when they come out. This is more a rating of my dogs chewing ability than the quality of the food – she seems to think they’re delicious and they look great quality!

My large Groodle, Scooby Doo, loves these chews. In fact, she comes running from the other end of the house when she hears me opening the bag! I buy the splits and one keeps her occupied for at least 20 minutes. They do a great job of keeping her teeth clean.

My dogs love these but as soon as the meat is gone I find the bone is sometimes too sharp for them. They will slowly eat the bone as well
