Reggie loves these, enjoying treats with lots of crunch! He is a big boy, a Greyhound/Irish Wolfhound cross, so the larger treats give him busy.

My spoodle likes chewing the kangaroo tail but unfortunately he vomits the bones up each time. The cow hooves are a hit though and last ages.

Hi Katie, some dogs do find the roo a bit rich. Sometimes a dog will regurgitate its food if its not sitting right or its not digesting it fast enough. They will often then chew it down further and try again. Often its just a case of reducing the size and frequency of the serve until they have got used to it.

My 2 boys (mini Schnauzers) loved these smelly chewy treas.. They would each carry them to their own corner and happily chew for several hours. Has been amazing for their teeth and gum hygiene. We can definitely recommend.

Flynny & Sophie here. We’re smooth fox terriers and we love these Roo tips. They last us a long time and if we get too tired on them, we’ll swap our treats and get stuck into the other’s treat. Mum complains that these leave long stringy strips about, but we don’t listen to her. We like finding them over the next couple of days and getting some unexpected surprises to munch on. Mum takes the end bit of bone / cartilage away once we’ve stripped the good stuff off so we’re not at risk of choking on them.

My cocker spaniel really loves these, and it takes him a while to get through one. I would say they are the perfect size for small to medium dogs, but maybe too big for tiny dogs. You get a decent amount in the 1kg bag and I cut some of the larger tail tips in half if needed. I will definitely be purchasing these again.

My schnauzers love these (they love ALL food), but I’m not keen on all the bits of bone. My boy is only eleven months old and I take away the left over bones. My girl would crunch her way through all of it, but it worries me that she’ll get a piece of bone stuck.

I took them to my dad and he cut each one into three pieces. Way too big! Won’t be buying again.

These are a winner in our house. They are a great chomp (they don’t last long with our guys) but they are such a great teeth cleaning treat and its the way to add more bones/Cartilage to our guys diets.

I tried this product and of course the dogs loved the tails …have not repeated the order only beacause I’ve had a smaller dog have issues with the small bony bits ….too risky for my dog sitting business

Hi Ilana. thanks for your feedback. I can only tell you we would never stock a product that has been fed back to us that causes lots of issues. The bone is dehydrated and not cooked so has not calcified. They act as a great dental cleaner and longer lasting treat for smaller dogs

My Bichon Frisé loves these. They are like doggy crack / toothbrush hybrids. Her teeth have never been cleaner. We take them off her after awhile so they last for several days. The first one lasted her 3 days all by itself but the little, fluffy, chunkydunk managed to learn how to eat them in one sitting. So now we wait until it’s been about 30 minutes and then take them away… or when she decides our beautiful silk and wool rug makes the perfect placemat. The only problem with them is that they are big enough that she cries before finally settling into a bed to chomp them, as she wants us to hand assist by holding them while she chews. This is a Bichon trait, (to con your staff into doing the hard work whenever possible). They also break into individual vertebrae so I take the small bones away if I see them laying around, and wouldn’t give them to a dog that likes to swallow smaller bones whole. So far no issues here though. They are also great for her sensitive tummy.

Before I bought these I asked if they were suitable for small dogs. They are not. Now I am left with these, fish rawhide knots and gummy twists all because of wrong information. Not happy.

Hi Margaret, The roo tail tips are generally a great treat for small and medium dogs though of course, there is a huge variation of breeds, jaw strengths and palates so its impossible to cover all bases. As a natural product the tips circumference can vary depending on the size of the roo as well so its possible you might have received larger than average. The rawhide knots again are liked by small and medium dogs though I agree the gummy twists are more for medium to large dogs and I will have the website updated. You are more than welcome to return the treats to us for a full refund if you feel what you received was not as expected or as described. We can refund the postage or you can request customer service at [email protected] to set up a return if its possible for your area. Apologies for the issues you have had and thanks for the feedback.

My two dogs are small, so it takes them quite a while to eat these tails. I think they are even a little confused on how to actually eat them.

These tails are a new Cleardog product for us. My very spoilt greyhound has a tail when she is with me outside gardening and there is very little left after an hour or so to be buried in her bed for later on! A hit with her.

Honestly there hasn’t been a product from Clear dog that our pups have not loved. Everything is finished including the crumbs. These are great we are needing to give our GSD pup hard bones to help his ears stand up. The roo tails last agers.

I’ve never known a little dog to get so excited over a treat. My little girl sunk her teeth into one of these kangaroo tail tips and stayed there happily chewing until I took it away. Packed in a good quality ziplock bag. Good value for money and in one go the tartar buildup was reduced by at least 50%
    Fantastic product.

I have four dogs, so as the tails are quite large I got my husband to cut them into smaller pieces so they would go further. The 2 ageing Maltese X’s got the thin end bits whilst the two Australian Cobberdogs got the thicker pieces.

All four dogs love the tails BUT they tend to splinter so they’re quite messy. Also the actually vertebrae are knobbly so tend to get left on the floor as a human-foot hazard for quite some time. I also think the smaller vertebrae could be a choking hazard – so when things got to that stage I threw the rest away. If you have a bigger dog who can take on the whole tail then that may not be an issue.

I’m going to try the pizzles next to see how they go, as tails are probably not a re-order for our household.

Hi Rebecca, Thanks for the feedback. While the vast majority are smaller tails there are some larger ones in there as well. I will take this on board and speak with our supplier to see if they can separate these into two lines before bagging for us.
