Kangaroo Tubes Dog Treats

The kangaroo ‘Roo Tubes’ treats are all-natural and healthy dog treats made from only Australian kangaroo tracheas (windpipe).

Firstly, they are a single-ingredient product containing:

  • No preservatives or additives
  • Rich in omega 3 (which can reduce inflammation, particularly for older dogs)
  • Low in fat (only 2%!)

Secondly, these treats are dehydrated to maintain all of the great nutritional value. Like the Moo Tubes, the Roo Tubes treats can be eaten as they are, or stuffed with ground meat for their dinner. Or even stuffed with blended fruit and vegetables.

They are a crunchy treat and easily broken up.

In conclusion – Dogs love them, no matter how they eat them!

Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

Don’t know why so many people are complaining about the smell and them being oily, I mean what did you expect lmao

All my dogs love these, they a small dogs under 5kg and I give them 1 each every now and then, it’s a great little reward for good behaviour!

Dogs that aren’t use to things like this may get the runs or have an upset stomach which is normal and you should obviously just give them smaller amounts

Usually cut these in half and stuff them with raw prey mix. My boys love these and also makes for a longer chew this way.

Watching the 6 month old Lab trying to work out what this was, priceless. He watched his older mate devour his and then tucked right in. They both cleaned up all the crumbs and I will definitely get these again.

My both Belgian shepherds had massive diarrhoea, one had haemorrhagic diarrhoea and bloody vomit. I knew it caused the gastrointestinal problem because i tried all food i was giving them at the same time and all ruled out. When i tried giving them this product 2nd time to see the response they had vomits and diarrhoea. I will hate to throw them away but cant give away either just in case….

Hi Najin, some dogs do struggle with the richness of roo and organ and the windpipe has a higher fat content than most other cuts. I recommend breaking it up into very small pieces and building them up to it. I am very confident there is nothing wrong with the you tubes so you can use with other dogs.

These are disappearing fast… two biggish dogs are loving them, I barely get the cupboard door shut and their asking for more!
I now use them as a high value training reward-they love them.

Have been purchasing Roo Tubes from Clear Dog for quite some time. Always happy with the service, Quick and efficient. Our Border Collie Tyson, just loves these treats and if we didn’t have any to give him every night he makes our night a misery.
Thanks Clear Dog from us and Woof!! Tyson

I alternate between these and the fish twisters, giving them to my boys (18kg and 28kg) before leaving for work each day. There are heaps in a bag, just make sure to break them apart as they can arrive stuck together. They are easy to break into smaller sections, too, if you prefer. My boys love them!

As my female border collie is getting older, her teeth have been wearing (from the pesky tennis ball, I know, I should have replaced with rubber ball a lot sooner) and the roo tail is too hard on her gums. Looking for an alternative, came across roo tubes. Definitely not as hard on her gums but still does the trick in cleaning her teeth. Of course, she loves them as well.

My dogs (only small kelpie) finish these in under a minute. Extremely disappointed by this as they are listed as “long lasting”. Have had strips of dry beef last longer than these. Will not buy again for cost. Not many in the bag for the cost. One of my dogs had issues with them irritating her tummy (all she ate was these and usual Blackhawk).

Hi Natalie, thanks for the feedback. These are listed as a ‘quick crunchy snack’? I cant see anywhere we list them as long lasting. Let me know where if this is the case as its an error. The sizes vary but normally at least 40 to a kilo when pulled apart. Yhey are windpipe and one of the richer and oilier parts of the kangaroo and some dogs do find it too rich. Its a case of of love them or hate them.

My dogs love their roo tubes and they last for a while which keeps them entertained…love hearing them chomping away and knowing they are Australian and don’t have any additives makes me happy

My dog absolutely loves these, her eyes widen when she sees the big bag of roo tubes come out. They are light and also hollow so a 500g bag contains a lot of roo tubes. They are greasy and they do smell but that means they taste the best!

My dog loves these! And anyone who notices that they smell like real meat should be pleased that their dog will be getting a treat that is not full of fat and artificial additi es.I want my dog to have optimum health so will be buying these roo tubes again.

As other have said they are smelly and oily, but as a raw feeder I know the weird smells and unusual textures are usually the tastiest! Nice and chewy but definitely an outside treat ?

Too hard, brittle, and chewy for a Pug. Became a choking hazard and have given them away to a Husky. Very greasy which was surprising given it’s roo. Taste was loved by said Pug

I think the dogs enjoyed them but they are just too smelly, smelled like kangaroo poo (yes living in the country I know what that smells like). I shall probably throw them away or wait until summer and give them outside.

My dogs love these so much they broke into the bag and scoffed the lot.
I have very well behaved dogs so that tells me these are pretty great if they resort to stealing them.

Not sure about the Roo Tubes it’s giving my dog problems, the marinade appears to be to strong giving her problems with her tummy. Loose bowl and irritating her rear end.

    • Add a review

Hi Robyn, Thats a shame your dog isnt agreeing with these. Just to confirm though that there is no marinade – this is 100% kangaroo trachea dried with nothing added. Roo can be a little richer than other meats and some dogs might be a little sensitive to it initially. I recommend breaking them up into smaller portions and seeing how she goes.
