Apple Training Bites

Apple Training Bites are made especially for a quick small training treat or for use in hollow toys which can entertain your dog for longer periods. These are easy on the belly and small enough to give a good few without filling your pet up!

Each training bite is about the size of a pea (0.5 x 1cm) fitting conveniently into the holes and teeth of many varieties of boredom toys.

Apple Flavour: 85% apple and 15% chickpea flour.

In comparison to normal flour, chickpea flour is wheat-free. Therefore it provides more vitamins, fibre, protein and minerals with far less calories and carbs which is great for dogs on a diet.

Made with 100% Australian Ingredients with no additives, preservatives and no added sugar.

Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

Not the most appetising apparently, my girl only shows interested in a low stress/arousal environment. Great for at home training but not enough to capture her attention for outdoor training.

Love these little treats. Only 2 ingredients and quite small; great for use as training rewards without having to break them up. My old dog is not as keen on them as my younger one, but he is a bit fussy in his old age.

I brought these for our 2 year old 68kg Boerboel Sarge to try as he’s on a protein elimination diet and can only have Duck or Vegetable foods. I didn’t realise that they were like the size of tick tacs for Sarge but I use them in his Kong Extreme instead

It’s funny you know as ours love Apples, but the younger dog would not even touch them. The older liked them.
I think they be good for training.

My 2 schnauzers love apple and these little bites are perfect for hiding in their snuffle mats and using for training

These are nice to carry around if you don’t want to smell like dried fish. She thinks they are yummy. Bought some for a friend and his dog liked them as well. I used them to make friends with a neighbour’s rescue dog who has been severely mistreated in a puppy farm. This dog is extremely uncomfortable with new people and has tried to bite me on previous occasions. She was nuzzling up to eat these out of my hand. Nice to have something small for training. True they sometimes go down without being chewed –

Sadly my very fussy labradoodle pup was NOT a fan of these.

I loved the concept of these (still do) but have based rating on the fact that Daisy did not like them. She could even pick them out when included in other food. I guess she’s not vegan! She loves the animal product treats though.

Dogs loved these. (Mind you they eat anything).
They’re perfect for training treats as not greasy and nice and small so you can use a fair few.

My beagle says these are delicious. They’re small and crunchy, with no grease whatsoever. I use them in his snuffle mat, ball pit and Petcube Bites. They’re also suitable for treat pouches.

I wasn’t sure if my Dalmatians would like an apple based treat, but they just love them and I now use them as a great low calorie training treat. Nice small, hard and crunchy pieces that don’t break down in my treat pouch.
