Kangaroo Lumbar Tails Dog Treats – Whole
Kangaroo tails are very popular and make a great dog treat for medium and larger-sized dogs. They are a very large and incredibly long-lasting dog treat.
Kangaroo is lean meat and very low in fat, which is a great added bonus to such a large treat.
These treats make great dental chews too. They help maintain healthy teeth and gums hygiene as your dog chews.
We recommend these as an outdoor treat as they can crumble off a lot – though the dogs will make sure there is no evidence leftover!
On average, these Kangaroo tails are around 15-20cm in length but some can vary outside of this. Thickness can vary slightly depending on the size of roo and part of the tail but are generally within the 6-7cm range on average but some can be either side.

Tails are very large and meaty. Our large working dog mix takes about 15mins of focus to strip off all the meat, then is interested in chewing the bones on and off for quite a while. He carries the litte joints to different parts of the house / garden to continue chewing on his own schedule. Beware stepping on a loose vertebrae left by a careless dog – it’s like stepping on Lego!

The love of my border collie’s life. He looks at then adoringly, more so than the way he looks at us. Great for when we’re away at work. It keeps him going (and out of mischief) for at least 6 hours, and he’ll return the next day. However, leaves little strands of meat fibres strewn everywhere and smells to high heaven. But that’s a small inconvenience for not chewing on garden furniture and digging up plants!
