Beef Crunch Jerky Dog Treats
Beef Crunch Jerky is an easy to break jerky made of Spleen organ meat. It’s a more cost conscious jerky as more readily available than human-grade cuts. If you were to put liver and jerky into a room and they fell in love, this would be the offspring as far as looks go!
There are some key benefits of spleen however, including peptides which are produced only in the spleen which can have a positive effect on the immune system, skin health and overall energy. It is also a great source of selenium which is a strong antioxidant and great for thyroid health, aging, cancer and many inflammatory diseases. Add in it has multitudes of bio-available iron compared to the liver, and high levels of vitamin C and B12 which have a wide range of health benefits.
As an organ meat, it can smell stronger than a meat cut, and maybe this is why the feedback is that dogs love it!
Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase if kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

This Beef Crunch Jerky is about 0.5-1cm thick give or take. It’s very easy to break. Pieces come in a variety of sizes and shapes. From about 2-5cm wide and 6-14com long but can be less or more outside of this.
The 100g and 400g packs are provided in a convenient resealable stand-up pouch. 1kg pack is provided in a resealable plastic flat bag.

My dogs love these treats. They’re easy for them to consume.

Previously I purchased the 100g pack to try and they were crunchy therefore, I decided to purchase the bigger pack. However, I was a little disappointed that they weren’t crunchy. I reckoned they weren’t dried enough as they were soft and a little chewy. Hopefully the next batch is more crunchy as is the norm.

Hi Christine, the result can vary on the animal, we do see a difference if they are grass fed verse grain for example. Fat levels can also make them feel softer. The treat will definitely be dried enough as else it would be mouldy within a few days or weeks since we do not use mould inhibiting preservatives. All batches are moisture tested to ensure they are below the required levels. This would just be one of the challenges we have with variations on feed/breed/fat levels etc which come with single ingredient natural treats.

Well my big boy has chosen these as his favourite treats no matter what the time of the day it is he leads me to the cupboard and drools while I get them out. They are easy to break and as he is a Rotti crossed with a Bullmastiff they don’t last long but I am happy to keep buying them for him.
