Cartilage Tails Dog Treats

Our Cartilage Tails Dog Treats are the perfect long-lasting dental dog treat, perfect for dental hygiene and help relieve joint pain. If your dog loves the shark cartilage chews, they will love these Cartilage tails! These tails have the skin on them and full of omega 3 making it the perfect supplement to help aid skin conditions and give your dog a shiny healthier looking coat. Plus the tail around the shark cartilage (although quite a thin fin) are longer lasting than the Shark Cartilage and adds extra chewing time to the treat. The sizes may vary but they are hand-sized pieces and average at 15cm long.

These are very light treats and can break easily in the packaging so please note that there may be singular pieces of shark cartilage without the skin in the bag as these are the tips of the tail and therefore very thin cartilage.

Perfect for dogs with mobility issues, arthritis and joint inflammatory pains.

Our products have a best before of 12 months from purchase. Please keep sealed and stored out of direct sunlight and under 30c on average.

More Information:

Our shark products are either 100% North Queensland Black Tip or Australian Gummy shark. These are both common sharks in Australia. Caught using only sustainable practices with quota’s strictly managed by the Australian Fisheries. They are declared as least concern by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). They are very common in our Australian waters and not endangered. No threatened shark species used in our products.

These fish are essentially caught for human consumption. Often referred to as flake in fish and chip shops and we mainly use the non-human consumption leftovers which would otherwise be discarded. Therefore nothings wasted. Secondly, we do not catch endangered sharks to use just their fins, tails or skin for dog products! In conclusion, we use the leftovers of common sustainably fished Australian shark used for human consumption.

100% Australian caught Gummy Shark and dried in Australia. Gummy shark is used in fish and ship shops in Australia and generally sold under the name flake. We use the left overs.

Gummy shark is classed as fully sustainable and has a quota which is strictly monitored by the Australia Fisheries.

We 100% do not use unsustainable, endangered shark species for any of our shark products.

My Jacks absolutely love these tails. Sometimes the pack has some larger ones but they are easily broken into 2 or 3 pieces to suit smaller dogs. Will keep continuing to buy these and have recommended them to quite a few friends and colleagues.

My Springers love these as a treat of part of their meal. The cartridge is great for arthritis prevention. Good enrichment.

My cairn terriers love these. They chew them up pretty quickly but it’s a hood crunch for them. And the collagen is excellent for their skin, tendons and coat.

My little 9month of Frug adores these, although she finishes one in 10mins. The fishy tail outlasts the cartilage so this makes it a little more long lasting

The real deal as far as product and the dogs love them. However they do have a very strong fish smell (Yeh I know how dumb that sounds) which stays on my dogs breath for ages and I suggest you only open the bag when outside. We are slowly working through all the products, and this is the only one we won’t be reordering, but it is only because the beef/kangaroo and chicken products we have tried have been awesome without as much smell. If the smell doesn’t bother you, it took my dogs about 15 mins per tail to eat and they had no problems being smelly

My 2 Jack Russell Terriers favourite treat. They absolutely love this more than anything else. Second place would be the kangaroo knee tendons.
Definitely something I will buy regularly.

These are not a long chew but still great. Fishy but less so than others. My 1 year old cavoodle takes about 10 mins.

Absolutely brilliant treat for my little pap. She loves them so much she growls at me if I take it away from her and that’s a first. Great value for money and packed really well in a strong ziplock bag for freshness.
