These are a great treat. My small dog loves them and I love them because it takes a bit of time for him to chew which is good for his teeth.
cfjurgens (verified owner) –
My dogs LOVE these. They seem fresher amd a bit more wholesome than those sold in pet stores.
Theybare quite small ones so the bag has heaps in it.
My dogs are tiny so they are quite a filling treat. For a big dog they would be a good training treat for a big achievement.
For my tiny dogs they are great for when they are convinced they are dying of hunger between meals.
shclark (verified owner) –
My dog loves them as a treat. Great price too.
Danielle Lee (verified owner) –
2yo Labradoodle loves them. Crunchy quick snack! Around 10cm long, and can be snapped into 2-3 chunks if you want smaller pieces.

Phil Spencer (verified owner) –
3 border collies ,all crunch away happily. I ask which bag, middle dog puts chin on chicken necks. Must admit that pigs ears are in same spot. Go figure.
ConnyH (verified owner) –
Been buying Clear Dog Treats for some time now. Luckily for me they are kind enough to select small size portions for my Chihuahua x and King Charles spaniel..
Great value for $ too

ALISON ORTON (verified owner) –
Harvey absolutely loves these and waits patiently every morning for his treat! Many thanks for a great product.
michellepaul04 (verified owner) –
my Chis loved the chicken necks and the other dog treats, the necks used to have a smelly odour (much like the chicken breast) which they loved but the most recent batch doesn’t seem to which is sad because the pups don’t gravitate to them like they used to. Its good for their teeth and just the right size to keep them busy for a while.
cleardog –
It can depend on the breed and type of chicken and the fat/oil content which increases once the water has been removed. this can vary the smell to be less or more intense. Of course, some love no smell, and some love the opposite 🙂
Paul (verified owner) –
My whippets love these
David (verified owner) –
Our little girl loves the c/necks ,great treats
Tracy (verified owner) –
This treat is great for my 8yr old small dog who looks forward to her daily chicken neck as I leave the house each morning. Definitely noticed an improvement in her dental health since feeding her the chicken necks. I would recommend this product.
Annette Richter (verified owner) –
Sorry. I don’t usually write bad reviews. These absolutely stink. The dogs love them but I’ve thrown them out because they were stinking up my doggie cupboard. I’ve bought chicken necks before and never had this rancid smell before. I keep them in a sealed plastic container but I honestly can’t stand the smell when I open it. Very disappointed. Dogs would rate them highly but I would never order this brand of necks again. You asked for a review by email… I wasn’t going to say….
cleardog –
Hi Annette, its ok, we accept some people struggle with the smell of some of our natural products. Chicken necks can be bit oilier due to being a skin product so the smell can vary and occasionally a smellier batch can come through though.
Megan Pitts (verified owner) –
The girls absolutely loved these. Crunched away happily after their bath
Narelle Landers (verified owner) –
Great treat, both the dogs love them
Maree (verified owner) –
Excellent treat and our boy loves them
Gene the Koolie (verified owner) –
These are very popular with my boy who starts to drool when the pack opens. They are a bit smelly, but the zip lock bag puts a stop to that! Excellent treat.
Big Bear (verified owner) –
We bought these to supplement the chicken tenders also bought from here.. The first half kilo, he wolfed down, Second half of the bag not so much. They smell so keep the bag sealed, happy that our porch is eating healthy.
Sonia (verified owner) –
My 6 month old pup Rudy loves these. It takes him a couple of minutes to devour. Sometimes he leaves a few bones for me to clean up, sometimes he munches down the whole thing. I’ve never been concerned about him choking on it.
Tuija vartiainen (verified owner) –
My 2 sausage love these and so much better than handling fresh chicken necks.
Angie Maret (verified owner) –
My 3 cavies love these. The oldest is the boss, shesits infront of me and demands her treat by staring and barking at me.
Emily (verified owner) –
My dogs loooooove the chicken necks, they hear the packet open and in a blink they are sitting at my feet patiently waiting for their treat. I love giving clear dog treats to my dogs because I’m confident that they are healthy for them and best of all made in Australia from Australian produce.
Christine Miller (verified owner) –
Our dogs absolutely love these chicken necks. They are a great healthy addition to their daily meal.
Jane Tryniw (verified owner) –
Unfortunately both of my toy poodles disliked these. They do love the chicken tenders though
jcleong (verified owner) –
These chicken necks I’ve ordered is stale, they have a weird smell and a bit flaky. It seems like it expired, my dogs doesn’t like it they turn their head away when I give it to them.
cleardog –
Our chicken necks come fresh from a human grade abattoir and dehydrated by food safe and HACCP certified suppliers. I can absolutely assure you nothing is stale. Dehydrated chicken necks have 2 years best before from manufacture and we tend to go through pallets within 4-6 weeks. These are natural products and we cant change the smell which can vary on batch due to the breed and age and feed the chicken had. The chicken necks have skin on which when dried can be flaky on the outside and of course, skin is naturally a little oily which can give a stronger smell once the water is removed and the nutrients become condensed.
wendy.tse.wt (verified owner) –
Great treat! Lasts about 5 seconds for my 26kg pup. Will have to say – it’s quite crumbly and just a bit greasy to touch. But would recommend overall given the price!
Karen (verified owner) –
Our Cavoodle loves them.
kelly adams (verified owner) –
My super picky boxer LOVES these…. he spits out cheese, roast chicken and needs a good deal of convincing to eat a sausage….. but dried chicken necks are apparently delicious!!
Ron Bird (verified owner) –
my two dogs love them @ line up in the mornings @ night for their treats
Maxine (verified owner) –
These chicken necks are my girl’s absolute favourite. They’re a good size for her gob (she’s a small older dog with not many teefies too) so has no problems chewing these chicken necks. Will defs order them again.
Linda Moorhouse (verified owner) –
This is a favourite snack for our Golden. We rotate snacks around – but he will get a snack at bedtime. He loves them. 🐶🤗
Elaine Weir (verified owner) –
My 2 miniature Schnauzers can’t get enough of these treats.
Emily Garnett (verified owner) –
The perfect treat for my lappie puppy! The only issue was I didn’t order enough of them!
Jessica Pore-Shields (verified owner) –
The perfect shape and size to put in a ‘tyre wheel’ shaped Kong that my dog spends ages chewing on. I have a large Goldie and she loves this.
Deanne (verified owner) –
A favourite treat for my little Shitzu Ollie. As soon as I get my lunch he knows it’s chicken neck time. Great service and fast delivery. Thank you ?
Katy (verified owner) –
My dogs love them. The only problem (and it isn’t really a problem!) is that they eat them too quickly! They love it when I wedge these in a Kong and that helps them last a bit longer. Great treat and good value.
sandi Patard (verified owner) –
These chicken necks are perfect for my smaller older dog she loves them, she crunches and munches and looks for more. Great product.
Melanie (verified owner) –
My cattledogs love them!

Tanya (verified owner) –
I have been buying chicken necks for 10 years from another distributor in FNQLD which requires them to be refrigerated if not they go mouldy, as well as all their other products. I asked if these needed to be refrigerated and was told no. I find these chicken necks crumble to easily, not long lasting for my dog when eating, disintegrate within seconds and her breath has started to smell. I am not quite sure what the yellow tinge is on them and our dog has now plaque build up on her teeth. She is 12yo and only had her teeth cleaned at the vets once before now and our vet asked last week if we had changed her diet.
In saying this, she does eat them, obviously scoffs them down a lot quicker than the previous ones! I am just not sure they are 100% chemical or preservative free due to the yellow tinge. Bad breath and tartar build up speaks volumes to me…
cleardog –
Hi Tanya, I can assure you our treats are 100% preservative-free. There is nothing at all added to our necks. The golden colour which can crumble off is generally just the outer thin skin which dries and shrivels up during dehydration. If you are being told to refrigerate else they go mouldy then the supplier is not dehydrating the treats correctly. Mould will occur if not enough water has been removed from the treats. We have to get the water content down to near zero in order to achieve a good shelflife. You might want to check they are safe food accredited/certified by Safe Food Queensland as this sort of thing shouldn’t happen and the difference in looks is likely due to your necks having a higher water content and not being fully dehydrated. I highly recommend looking at other dental treats like standard beef pizzle as well. While chicken necks are popular, they are a quick snack for many dogs and a dental for smaller jaws but there are many more longer-lasting dental treats out there to compliment them.
Georgina (verified owner) –
My heeler loves these so we have them on hand all the time. They are no mess, clean and crunchy.
Definitely a winner.
Maxine (verified owner) –
My girl absolutely loves chicken so had to get a chicken treat so tried these and she loves the chicken necks. Crispy and crunchy which she loves. She doesn’t have a full set of teeth but she is still able to eat these easily.
Bev (verified owner) –
First time I have ordered these, but definitely not the last. My three wait eagerly to start the day with one of these crunchy treats – before they have their more serious chew on a roo knee or dried chicken breast. A great start to their day – and then I can have my coffee uninterrupted!!!
Christine Bowers (verified owner) –
Some of our dogs eat fresh chichen necks too quickly and run the risk of choking but these are perfect as they crunch them up and eat every last morsel of them
seiberspace (verified owner) –
A perfect crunchy treat and apparently very delicious. A satisfying option for our 2 year old kelpie/collie/cattle dog cross who has trouble digesting bones.
Rosemary Oldfield (verified owner) –
These are great for my Cavvie. He crunches them up and eats them well. Other things that require a lot of chewing, he can choke on because he hurries too much with not enough chewing and swallows them big. Very happy with the chicken necks.
Tracey (verified owner) –
My dog enjoys these as a morning treat. He waits for them as he knows when the pantry door gets opened it’s treat time. Will buy again.
Cheryl CHAFFEY (verified owner) –
Great, natural product. Dogs love them!
Mel (verified owner) –
Fantastic loved by both My Dally and Poodle.
Celia Ralston (verified owner) –
Tasty and low fat treats for both our dogs, one of whom is on a diet. They take some time to chew through them and are a high value treat for basic training.
Cindy-lou Van Loon (verified owner) –
Best treat ever, I used to buy fresh chicken necks but one of my dogs swallows them whole so stopped buying them, found these and problem solved, lovely crispy crunchy necks, no more swallowing whole, my dog love them, will be buying more.
Shirley Thomas (verified owner) –
My cavalier likes them but they don’t last long and he wants another. Highly recommend them.
Toma Islam (verified owner) –
Crunchy treats for my small Bichon dog, he just loves it .
Jo (verified owner) –
My dogs did not like this brand at all – although they can’t get enough of the same sort of product in another brand. I have to admit these necks smelt and felt oily and greasy like they had been deep fried. Some were very big, almost like turkey or duck necks. Even my neighbors dogs weren’t interested. Maybe I got a bad batch but I won’t be bothering with this product again.
cleardog –
Hi Jo, thanks for the feedback. The chicken necks have a reasonable high fat content and this translates into oil in a finished product. The amount can vary depending on the age and the breed of the chicken which can vary a bit like the size of the necks. They are just dehydrated to remove moisture but this can concentrate the fat/oil in finished products. That said we did notice a couple of bags which had really large necks compared to normal from a batch in august and they were oilier. We pulled these from sale but it sounds like a bag got through. Nothing wrong with them just they must have had a higher fat content which made them smell stronger and be oily. These come to us in pallets of about 250kg and it as just a few bags we saw. I will ship you a new bag from the new pallet which look as normal.
John Cooper (verified owner) –
Great product dogs thoroughly enjoy them and price very good Dogs would eat them 24/7 if you allowed them to
Demon and Vixen (verified owner) –
We love our chicken necks. Mumma gives them to us just be for we go to bed. We are very spoilt and are allowed to have to necks each. And we love them
Mandy (verified owner) –
Neither my Border Collie or my Spitz will touch these unfortunately.
Wendy (verified owner) –
My three dogs love these, or anything else I buy from here. Great to buy all Australian, as do not trust supermarket products!
Elena (verified owner) –
While it is a good treat, it shoudn’t be in the category of long lasting. I prefer not to give my miniature schnauzer snacks and now I have to as I have a whole bag of them. It takes him just 3-5 minutes to chew, that’s definitely not long lasting.
Carolyn (verified owner) –
My 2 little dogs have a neck everyday. They lie them and they keep their teeth clean.
Colin Booth (verified owner) –
Our Dachshunds second favorite treat behind your Beef Jerky.
Good for the pups getting their adult teeth and we have an old Dachshund too and she loves them.
We used to use fresh Chicken necks but they smell after a few days if you don’t use them all straight away
Marg Stewart (verified owner) –
Our girls love these so much that they almost inhale them. Good & crunchy & easy for one who has teeth missing. Will definitely reorder.
RUTH –
my dogs love this product, I got 3kg of them as they have 2 a night before bed they actually tell me when they are ready. I have 3 golden retrieves
Michelle White (verified owner) –
Not really very happy with these, don’t think I will purchase again, neither of my dogs seem to like chicken necks.
They are very flaky and weird, if I put them out, they push them around and then leave them…
Have tried many times to feed, but feel it is a waste, will most likely give remainder away and not order again…
Yvonne (verified owner) –
My dogs love these although I do limit them to one only each. Will reorder again.
Deb Henderson (verified owner) –
Very tasty treat, which is a great size for little dogs that can’t chew bigger, tougher treats. Toy poodle and Tibetan spaniel love them and can manage them.
Ness (verified owner) –
Great for my older pug who doesn’t have many teeth left. The younger dogs love them too, they actually look delicious ?.
A great treat to keep in the cupboard.
Daisy’s mum (verified owner) –
Daisy loves chicken neck, crunchy and yummy! Very reassuring it’s locally sourced ingredients and preservative/additive free!
marion reid (verified owner) –
My two toy poodles really polish these off and are great for the 15 year old who’s minus a few teeth.
Meryl –
This is a quick little evening treat for my two small dogs and gives their teeth a bit of a work out. Good value.
simmetra (verified owner) –
Great as a quick treat but a bit insubstantial for my border collie, lasts perhaps 2 minutes. Prefer the beef ribs. Even though those has far less meat, each rib takes him at least an hour before he tires of it.
N (verified owner) –
These smelled a bit funky, and not chickeny at all, but my dog loved them.
Mabel Jung –
Very crunchy and tasty! Also great for old dogs who is not good to chew bones.
Mary (verified owner) –
My 3 rescue dogs love these but unfortunately they upset their tummies. I have tried giving them a very small piece each to try and get them used to them but so far I have had no luck – still upset tummies. I will keep trying because they would be excellent for teeth. Fingers crossed!!
Liv –
It is crunchy and great for dental health
Louise Castelli (verified owner) –
Loves these crunchy treats and they are good value!
Robert (verified owner) –
My Cavoodle loves them
Lorraine (verified owner) –
Absolutely loved by my two small dogs.
Gillian (verified owner) –
These treats are very light, so you get quite a lot per kilo. Great value for money, and a wonderful light reward.
Lorna Wyatt (verified owner) –
The dried chicken necks are a great treat for our small dogs and help keep their teeth clean.
TANYA FREEMAN (verified owner) –
Not happy with this product still have a full bag not touched.
They smell of plastic and my dog will not touch them, even my neighbours dog walks away from them.
cleardog –
Hi Tanya, This is very strange, we have never had an issue with our chicken necks so I am unsure what the issue is here. We have checked stock which appear fine. Our supplier sends us them by the pallet of about 1/4 ton per batch and this is the first issue we have so I am hoping its a one off, perhaps some moisture got in to the bag or something. I will create you a credit for the full value of the bag you purchased and email you this direct.
Beverley (verified owner) –
A great treat when a large kangaroo riblet is not needed.
Duke and Daisy (verified owner) –
Great treat. Afternoon tea time keeps getting earlier. Great option. Highly recommended.
Brian (verified owner) –
Relatively healthy, good value treats which my dogs go crazy for!
Elisabeth (verified owner) –
Excellent quality compared to a brand I previously used which had smaller and broken necks.
Denise Glover (verified owner) –
My labradoodle adores these treats and has at least two every day. They are great for enticing him into his bed. We can’t do without them.
jeaninecroxon (verified owner) –
A definite favourite and top seller are these chicken necks. Perfect for all size dogs
aniceta.sabrina (verified owner) –
Good for dental
Alixv (verified owner) –
Nigel adores these treats – 2 every night before bed. By far more successful than any other
Alison Harman (verified owner) –
For my small dogs these are a great small and easy to eat treat. If you want something for a very small dog or old dog these would be brilliant. They are quick to eat, though, if you want a small dog treat which is a bit more substantial and makes them use their jaws a bit more the ribs are good.
Karen Rogers (verified owner) –
5 stars again for these crunchy treats and they never stink like the fresh necks. The big bonus with all these treats is that they clean their teeth naturally and they are so healthy.
Duncan (verified owner) –
I think the fact that i have reordered says it all.
Mrs P (verified owner) –
Our Wooflet loves his chicken necks. We find the zip lock bag is fantastic as we store them in the freezer. We’re also happy to be supporting a small Australian business.
Would love even more if we could get a guarantee as to whether all the meat products are free range, grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free.
Lynda (verified owner) –
Our staffy loves these crunchy treats and they are good value!
Connie (verified owner) –
Our JRT LOVES these… great treat and good for her teeth and the fact that they easily crunch are a bonus..will definitly continue to buy these
Concetta Morelli (verified owner) –
The girls love them. I don’t need to worry there is something they are made with that would harm my girls. Can’t go past Australian made. Worth every cent
Paul (verified owner) –
My little dog does not enjoy this product. She will sniff them and walk away.
CJ (verified owner) –
Good dental treat, very much enjoyed by our Labrador. Exceptional service from this company.. Thank you.
Lyn-Anne (verified owner) –

MO’B (verified owner) –
Dried chicken necks is a great product; my big boy almost turns cartwheels to get these treats. Terrific service too thank you.
Ruth (verified owner) –
Through trial and error I’ve now found the favourite doggy treats that our two Red Clouds ABSOLUTELY love….and this is one of them. They go crazy for these Chicken Necks. Well, since they LOVED these so much I’ve now ordered the Chicken Wings too; to give them a try.
Bruce Cornish (verified owner) –
This is a special treat that all of our dogs love, especially one of our oldies who has very sore gums – she even pushes some of the others out of the way to get them first.
PC (verified owner) –
These are perfect treats for my old girl who is missing several teeth – crunchy enough to make the treat interesting, but not too hard that she has trouble eating it – one of her favourites
