Fish Twister Dog Treats are a delicious treat for your dog, which are also good for them too!
A Shark Cartilage stick wrapped in a generous strip of mackerel. As well as being a great dental chew your get a great hit of calcium and phosphorus for the joints and for cell repair from the cartilage, and omega-3 essential oils from the fish for a healthy skin and coat. Its a Triple hit – dental, joints, skin & coat! This is what its all about. Great quality, nutritious dog treats which are sugar, filler, preservative, additive, colour, and flavour enhancer free.

I have tried unenhanced shark cartilage before and have been met with an unenthusiastic response. Fish twisters are completely different. For context, the breed of dog I am referring to here is a Parson Russell Terrier and if he has been distracted from chewing one of these treats in the yard during the day you can bet he is in the back yard at midnight under floodlights finishing the job. They are relatively easily cut in half for smaller dogs and this makes them incredibly cost-effective. They are very ‘crunchy’ and I concern myself that he might scratch his gums (he is a small to medium dog of 8kgs so small jaws) if I give him them daily so I alternate them with other treats.

Oh god the smell!! i complain but my boys don’t, they LOVE these treats. They don’t last terribly long and can be gobbled up in about 4 minutes but are great for their teeth, bones and shiny coats. Just expect fish breath for the rest of the day.

Both of my dogs thoroughly love these treats, not only are they beneficial for our old Staffy ruby (who has stiff joints), but they are a good source of protein, and help maintain a healthy coats etc..
The flip side to this wonderful product is its smell – absolutely awful (the hubby wont let the dogs inside if they have one of these, as the smell makes him retch.
In saying that it’s a small price to pay for a quality product.
