My dog starts to drool when these come out. He can get upset when I go out and he’s home alone but one of these in his crate and he doesn’t even notice me leaving. I like that I’m giving him healthy treats rather than sugar laden ones.

A very popular, regular staple daily treat, about 4 times a week for my Tibbies. They love them, and I am forever collecting the bones after they chew the meat off – a small price to pay for happy doggies🐶 !

My Cobberdog gives his 🐾 up on the kangaroo ribs, I will definitely purchase again. Each month I purchase something new for him & so far he’s loved everything. I like that the treats are a natural product.
Thankyou Clear Dog.

My groodle loves the kangaroo ribs. She devours one every morning. It takes her about twenty min to eat it. I buy a kg bag so she always has a ready supply. Great value

My dog loves it, but I wasn’t very impressed with them. They looked nothing like the photos, and despite being advertised as ”low fat”, they were covered in fat which I had to remove individually before giving to my dog each time. (I took a photo, which there was a way to attach). I hope Clear Dogs looks into this and actually making sure thay they are low in fat!

Hi Emily, generally roo meat is very low fat though not no fat and we specify the numbers based on typical analysis. The butchers do trim fat however as nature is, some animals maybe fattier than others due to age, feed and availability and breed. We did check the batch and it all looks fine with no further feedback, so I think you might have just had a fattier roo than normal. We do deal with a natural product so we apologise if there are variations to the normal. We do offer a no questions return and refund or replace if you are not happy.

Buffy the 3 year old Bull Terrier makes short work of these – she chews them and downs them in about 3 minutes.
They have far less smelly then the lumbar/spine/neck/tail versions so they are less gag worthy for me!

Two 2-year old westies love these. Quickly strip the meat off and then chew the bones. As the one gets a bad tummy with too much roo I have to remove them at half way. But they get a decent 20 to 30 minutes of chewing. The 13 year old westie, who is missing teeth, loves to strip the dry meat from the ribs and leave the bones for the younger ones to chew. Will buy again.

My training puppies love these. I also love that they are not fully of additives and preservative like the Supermarket treats.

Good value, we cut into 1 to 2 ribs for our Cairn Terrier. She’s loves these
Shirley Dennis (verified owner) –
Great smaller treats that can be separated easily for smaller serves. Good for our fussy boy who suffered from allergies. Cleans teeth so fresher breath! Have ordered these for a couple of years now! Great service and fast delivery!
Neil Lewis (verified owner) –
The riblets must have been from a very large kangaroo as they were about the same size as normal kangaroo ribs. My 2 schnauzers were unable to get through them
Katelyn Bourke (verified owner) –
I have a Kelpie and Pomeranian who go love these! I like that they can easily be broken up if needed. They are priced much more reasonably than the pet store kangaroo ribs. I will definitely be ordering these again, they keep both dogs occupied and happy.

Tasty, fun but mum says an outside treat only cos I’m messy.

Highly recommended. I cut these riblets down and give my Pom 1 rib at a time as a great chewing, teeth cleaning exercise. Well packaged in resealable packs. I’ll be buying these again and again.

My mini foxie loves these and something he chews on for ages so good for teeth (as he hates getting his teeth cleaned). I divide them down a bit as some are way too big for him to handle.
Cheryl (verified owner) –
My goldie loves all food but not these 🙁 He loved all the other treats though!
Maria Bonham (verified owner) –
Excellent product, my two little dogs absolutely love them. Some of the bigger one I found were quite easy to split them up into more manageable pieces with a Stanley knife. Highly recommend
Luba Poukchanski –
Too big for my small pug x jack russell to have whole because there are about 5 ribs per rack, but they break apart quite easily and are a good size for a small chew/snack when broken. I get about 3 serves at least out of each rib. Good as an alternative to the beef ribs which can’t be broken up and some of which are relatively large (but she loves those too!)
Mandy Scully (verified owner) –
My girls go wild for these and any of the roo products. Some are a bit big for my little one but I just break them in half no problems.
Toni Bull (verified owner) –
My standard fox terrier loves these. Suggest cutting them down with kitchen shears. They do last him a while and he has great teeth.
Caroline Barrett (verified owner) –
I have ordered the beef ribs before, and they are great. These roo riblets are much too big, and extremely difficult to break into smaller pieces. They could hardly be called a treat, each piece is large enough for a meal! Disappointed with them for my medium size spoodle. Will have to give the ones I can’t break to a much larger dog.
cleardog –
Hi Caroline,
Thanks for your feedback. The Riblets as a rule of thumb should be about a quarter of the size of a full sized rib rack as they should be cut in half and then half again. There can of course be variations in the size of kangaroo which will affect the size and how the butcher cuts them so they can vary a little from this but not much. Like you say, the Beef Spare Ribs are a good alternative if you are looking for smaller than this as a bone rib product for small to medium dogs. These are single bones rather than multiple. Unfortunately our roo supplier doesn’t have the machinery to create roo spare ribs. We do use these as a longer lasting treat for our mini schnauzers and they tackle them very well. Thanks. Peter.

My puppy Jax just loves these as a treat to hold him over to dinner time. He’ll spend a long time chewing every single crumb. The beef spare ribs are wonderful as well. He has two before he’s of to his bed for the night. Great products.

These are the best for my little poodle’s teeth! Since introducing these he has got nice clean teeth and bad breath is gone. Plus, unlike raw bones, he can have them inside the house. And given they are a ‘softer’ bone i.e. ribs…they are less likely to cause any damage to teeth or intestines.
Sue (verified owner) –
I cut these riblets into smaller pieces & this provides my two small dogs with a longer lasting treat than the kangaroo jerky which they also love. Can’t go past the quality or service provided by Clear Dog.
Jane (verified owner) –
My mini fox terrier loves these, I cut them up into individual ribs
They are a sometimes treat so the bag lasts a while, good value for money

We purchased this product for our cavoodle and unfortunately we don’t believe it’s a safe treat for ours or any dog. The pieces break up into sharp shards and we haven’t given him another one since. Such a shame since we ordered a full kilo.

Hi Shauna,
Uncooked bone is softer and much more malleable and the dogs teeth are generally very capable of crunching through them and the sharper bits help clean the teeth. While commercial dog food has over time made us believe dogs are only capable of eating pellets, our dogs generally are very capable of eating uncooked bone and the calcium from them is very beneficial. While we recommend you should always monitor your dog, as nothing can be said to be 100% safe, to give you some 100% accurate feedback, we sell 1000’s of kilos of this product over many years and have not had a single customer to date feed back any of our uncooked bone treats have caused there dogs harm. Always avoid cooked bones of course as they have calcified and become hard and brittle.

My Jack Russell loves these. I divide the ribs. Each one keeps her happy for hours. Since having these, she has had no tooth plaque. The vet was quite impressed and is no longer suggesting the need to have our dog’s teeth cleaned. I would recommend these for dogs both large and small.

Another favourite – only second to the beef ribs 🙂
Alison (verified owner) –
For my small dogs these are great when they have been broken into two or three pieces. They really like them.
Theresa (verified owner) –
My dogs love them, would be more convenient if they sold them like the beef spare ribs as I have to tear them apart which isn’t easy.
Barrie Harvell (verified owner) –
Our little staffy loves them, they are a bit large for her so I break them in half for her. Great product
Samantha (verified owner) –
Excellent product. Highly recommended for cavaliers.
Valerie Fullinfaw (verified owner) –
My dog loves the Beef Spare Ribs – her fav. However I thought I’d try these as an alternative. She likes these too. However, they are not as easy to handle as the Beef Spare Ribs, which come as single ribs and I break in two for her as she is only small (Maltese Shih Tzu). These riblets are harder to break into smaller portions. So I’ll probably stick to the Beef Spare Ribs.

Santa bought us a pack of the kangaroo arm bones, the beef spare ribs and the kangaroo riblets, and we love them all! We can chew up the spare ribs and roo riblets into small pieces and eat the whole bone, and the roo arm bones can be gnawed for ages. Our humans like them too because they’re low fat (one of us is getting a bit chubby) and, because the bones aren’t cooked, they don’t worry about us choking. But, apparently it’s a bad thing to bring the bones into the house and we have to eat them outside on the lawn. We’re also not allowed to take each other’s bones, or growl and bark at each other when we have our bones – it’s because of something called “manners”. Anyway, we’re sure that our humans will be buying some more for us because of something called ‘excellent quality and value”.

Our 2 cavaliers struggled eating these and they got diarrhea each time they tried to eat them. Sorry won’t be buying these again

Having initially bought the Kangaroo Ribs the second time a bought the small pack. I now buy these small packs regularly, but I notice there are a lot of thick pieces in the pack and large sections. Where do I find out about the riblets.
cleardog –
Hi Beverley, we ask the supplier to break the larger ribs up into a smaller product for us to cater for small to medium dogs. the sizes of the pieces can vary as can the size of the ribs depending on the roo. As a natural product we cant control this unfortunately.
the_fell_family (verified owner) –
I was just a little bit disappointed with these. I normally buy the beef ribs and our dog loves them. These seem to be quite big & bulky (at least the pack I got) and I have not been able to give some of these to our dog due to their overall size & bulk. I have given them to my neighbour who has a much larger dog (bigger teeth!) and they have been eaten quite quickly. I will go back to buying the beef ones as I am much happier with them.
Thank you for having such a great range available & great prices and excellent delivery times.

Hi Judith, I am worried you might have been sent the Roo Rib racks instead of the Roo Riblets. The riblets are much smaller than the beef rib racks – but larger than the beef spare ribs. The size can vary in batch and in the bag. were they cut up or whole ribs? email me and let me know if we might have made a mistake. we often mix the riblets up with the spare ribs with our dogs – they are a little bigger but not much in general.
